Prenatal Yoga: Love, Joy, Compassion, & Equanimity
This 4-week series is for people carrying and birthing a baby who are looking to connect with their bodies, their breath, and their pregnancy in a supportive environment. Each class will include time for community and connection and an exploration of the ways that yoga can support pregnancy and birth through movement, breath, and meditation. All bodies, sizes, and abilities are welcome and celebrated.
In this special series we will dedicate each class to an exploration of one of the Brahmaviharas, a set of four virtues or qualities that hold great significance in various Buddhist traditions. Often referred to as the “four faces of love” or “divine abodes,” the Brahmaviharas consist of loving-kindness (Metta), compassion (Karuna), empathetic joy (Mudita), and equanimity (Upekkha). We will explore these qualities through the experience of pregnancy, using them as tools to support our connection to ourselves, our baby (or babies, if you’re expecting twins!), and our community.

A great option if you are feeling in need of a fresh perspective, empathetic witnessing, or a nudge of direction toward greater expansion.
